An hour and a half’s drive from Cape Town, at the Summit of the Bainskloof pass.

We are situated at the very top of Bainskloof Pass, at Eerste Tol, forming part of the ‘vilage’ ( a small cluster of holiday homes and church camps. We are one of the last houses as you pass the height restriction poles which dangle down overhead above the road, warning trucks of the 3.84m high cliff overhang as you head down the pass towards Ceres. About 80m after these poles, turn right into a cul-de-sac. Look out for high wooden fencing and two chow dogs.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THAT THE PASS IS CLOSED FOR MAINTENANCE SO GUESTS NEED TO SUPPLY US WITH THEIR LICENSE PLATE NUMBERS 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE OF THEIR STAY IN ORDER TO GET UP THE PASS.

What to Bring with you:

Bring whatever homely comforts your heart desires. Please bring your own head torch, towel, and costume. We supply a duvet, pillow and blanket as bedding. Seasonal hot tub fashion FOMO will see you wanting to bring anything from your dressing gown and stokies to sunscreen and SPEEDOs. Please also bring your own wood as a contribution for the hot tub fire, inside fireplace, braai, pizza oven.
